An excellent card graced the Kincsem Park oval today at in Budapest, Hungary. The Dr. Thomas Borostyankoy Memorial led the way with two eliminations, each for 500,000Huf, and a 1,800,000Huf purse final. The elims were raced over 1800 meters autostart with the final contested over 1960 meters distance handicap.

That final went to 2.3/1 Zitti Tutti (5f Napoleon-Isula d’Arno-Coktail Jet) in a very slowly rated 1.21.0kr with a last 500 in 1.12.0kr. Hico owns this speedster that was bred by Riccardo Sculco and Zitti Tutti now sports a 10-1-0 slate in 11 lifetime starts. He has earned 3,075,000Huf.

The 13.8/1 White Lady (6f Toss Out-Elegant Lady-Mill H) was a solid second for Imre Fazekas. 17.3/1 odds and 20 meter penalized Villam Ville (6g Beissinger Hanover-Izaville-Endless Sands) took third with Goran Zolnaji up. The race record for this classic is 1.16.8kr set in 2019 by Zeal di Girifalco.

In his elimination, Zitti Tutti scored in 1.17.1kr at 2.1/1 odds with trainer Mazsity up. 7.8/1 Urania RG (7f Racino-Sweet Pine-Pine Chip) was second for Andor Angyal. Third was 5.2/1 Zseda (5f Frullino Jet-Filigran-Witsends Speedy) for Csaba Lakatos.

The second elimination went to 4.8/1 Timoteo (8m Abano As-Ghirlanda As-Diamond Way) clocked in 1.18.6kr for driver Veljko Mazsity. Timoteo won for the 29th time in 51 lifetime starts. 4.2/1 Villam Ville, third in the finale from a distance handicap, was second in his elim for Goran Zolnaji. Third was 3/2 favorite Vital RG (6m SJs Photo-Vitesse OR-Indro Park) with trainer Tibor Hajnal the reinsman.

Three year olds contested the Istvan Szent DIJ (purse 2,000,000HUf, 1960 meters distance handicap) with victory to the 1.17.6kr timed and 3.6/1 Borutka (3f Illetmeny-Night Lady-Tony Oaks) for Illetmeny Kft. The race record remains 1.15.9kr set in 2019 by Ujrazzs!. The winner scored for the third time in seven career starts. 3.4/1 Bazsiville (3g Calypso Capar-Izaville-Endless Sands) was a game second for Imre Fazekas, also trainer. Third was 2.4/1 Bonaparte Boss (3g Napoleon-Nikita-Crown Sweep) with Veljko Mazsity at the lines.

Today’s co-featured Hippodrom ES Lovanda Sprinter Kupa (purse 2,000,000HUf, 1800 meters autostart) went to 1.14.9kr timed and 3/1 odds Amy del Duomo (3f Daguet Rapide-Lily del Duomo-Muscles Yankee). Valjko Mazsity teamed the winner in this her first start in Hungary. 8.9/1 Zseneroz (5f SJs Photo-Hitelezo-Witsends Speedy) was second for Andor Angyal with 2.1/1 Take Me Home (8g Lets Go-Majestic Angel-Broadway Hall) landing third for Joze Sagaj. 8.6/1 Tars Starr (9m Persugill-Ten Stars Vita-Ata Star L) was fourth for pilot Janko Sagaj. The stake record was set in 2012 by the gallant then 16 year old Lester (by Gridiron Lad) in 1.13.3kr.
