Stallion Coktail Jet has passed
On a sad note the great racehorse and stallion Coktail Jet has passed. The 1990 son of Quouky Williams-Armbro Glamour-Super Bowl was the result of one of those few occasions when the FR stud book admitted Franco-American matings and this one help re-charge the FR bloodstock. Coktail Jet won 24 times in 62 starts for 1,896,774€ earned, taking a 1.11.2kr speed mark for trainer/driver Jean Etienne Dubois and owner Daniel Wildenstein. Coktail Jet has a sensational 1996 winning the Prix d’Amerique. Prix de France and the Elitloppet Final with a stirring stretch burst. As a sire he led the FR production for seven years, was widely used throughout Europe and left the sport with his successor Love You (a 1999 foal) along with The Best Madrik and Naglo. His racing accomplishments, pedigree and sire stats follow along with several memorable videos. Coktail Jet will appear on pedigree pages for years to come through his 1,801 FR foals so far and nearly 1,200 in other countries.
