Franck Ouvrie teamed the Stall Markove owned mare that was bred by Jean Etienne Dubois. The 3.3/1 Brose du Coglais (7f Prince Gede) was a rallying second with trainer Jean Michel Bazire aboard. The 27/1 Balade Majyc (7f Baccarat du Pont) emerged for third handled by her trainer Antoine Lherte.
The Prix de l’Aigle (purse 60,000€, 2875 meters, 13 starters) saw the 1.8/1 Desir Castelets (3m Quaker Jet-Ophelie Jet) scored with Matthieu Abrivard up for trainer Roelens.
This colt now has eight career wins in 18 starts, with his 1.13.1kr score. 2/1 second choice, Dream de Lasserie (5g Orlando Vici), was second for trainer/driver Romain Derieux and Ecurie Daidou. The 11/1 Dream Cash (5g Ready Cash-Susy Love), owned by Ecurie des Charmes, took third for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire.
Today at Cabourg was the Prix de Percy (purse 32,000€, 2050 meters autostart, 14 starters) and what a blanket finish it produced with 13/1 Defi Pierji (5m Rock Meslois) the winner for driver David Thomain and trainer L.Cl. Abrivard.
Race time was 1.13.3kr. The 118/1 outsider Daisy Team (5f Timoko-Daisy Chain) was second for owner/trainer/driver Julien Dubois. Ecurie D bred this one that is from the excellent broodmare Daisy Chain (1991 f, Speedy Somolli-Kravotte-Caprior), she dam of 16 foals including Kaisy Dream (by Extreme Dream), Orsy Dream and Paisy Dream.
Kaisy Dream was a fine racehorse (shown below)and a good sire including the 2008 North American Breeders Crown winner Brigham Dream (2004 f, Kaisy Dream-Crysta’s Image-Balanced Image) that also was the Ontario Sires Gold Final winner at age three.
