Conway Hall filly wins 'Swedish Hambo Oaks'

The mare division of the Swedish Hambletonian, Sprintermastaren at Halmstad, was won by Oyster Kronos driven by harness racing driver Lutfi Kolgjini.

Oyster Kronos is by Conway Hall-Ms Vic 1:57 ($294,979) who in foal to Conway Hall was sold to Italy, where Oyster Kronos was born.

Oyster Kronos was sold to Sweden and is trained by Lutfi Kolgjini.

Oyester Kronos was in command from start and managed to hold off a late charge from Canadian-born Crys Dream driven by Dominique Locqueneux, who found racing room too late after enjoying a pocket ride.

Oyster Kronos won by three-quarters of a length and both were timed in 1:55.3f.

The purse for the winner was $45,000.

Oyster Kronos has now raced 27 times and won eight races and has total earnings of $243,000. She's the second richest foal of Ms Vic, who's the dam of Chosen Voyageur (by Balanced Image) 1:53.3f with earnings of $396,902.
