Cranbourne’s harness racing community has plenty to be excited about this week with two of the best locally trained horses the hot favourites to take out their respective Group 1 assignments.
Exciting youngster Cruisin Around, trained by Michael Hughes, will line up in the $60,000 Empire Stallions Vicbred Super Series Final, for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings, at Melton on Friday night.
Then on Saturday night the spotlight will move to fellow local Hectorjayjay, from the Simone and Bill Walker stables, when he takes his place in the $110,000 Empire Stallions Vicbred Super Series Final, for four-year-old entires and geldings.
