January Mondays and harness racing driver Yannick Gingras at the track are virtually synonymous. During the last four Mondays, Gingras has won 20 races. First week, five races, then another five, followed by four and last Monday, six races, all on Monday programs at Dover Downs. On Wednesday (1/20) Tim Tetrick recorded six wins.

The six-race win streak by Nice Trip came to an end on Tuesday (1/19) when the female pacer finished out-of-the-money. The race was won by Electric Z Tam.
The current longest win streak at the track, eight straight, belongs to Ragazzo Dolce, who has dominated in the $20,000-$25,000 claiming trot. Rocknroll Jewel and Drinksforthehouse have three-win streaks.

The longshot of the week came Wednesday (1/20) when Man Of Muscles scored a 51-1 longshot victory. Ironically, the trotter had finished second in his previous start.

Driver Corey Callahan, who has not raced for more than a week, continues to hold onto first place in the Leading Driver category. Seeking a seventh-straight title, Callahan has already won 98 races. Allan Davis is second with 72 wins. Ross Wolfenden, holds third-place with 63 winners. George Dennis is in fourth place with 55 winners and Tony Morgan completes the Top 5 with 54 wins.

Dylan Davis keeps the lead among trainers. The two-time track defending champ has 42 winners. Jim King is second with 25. Wayne Givens, in third place, with 24, Doug Lewis is fourth, 19 wins and Josh Green is fifth with 18 winners.

Sunday racing is now featured during January and February. Sunday racing begins at 5:30 p.m. On Monday through Thursday regular weekday post time is 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday are 'dark' days.
