HARRINGTON, Del. - Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund action continued at Harrington Raceway Wednesday, with four divisions for harness racing 3-year-old trotters taking their turn over Delaware's half-mile racetrack in their respective $20,000 elimination legs.

James Craparotta and Pat Berry Racing's Epic Smash ($2.40, Berry) held serve as the favorite in the first division for fillies with a 1:59.4 victory over Miss Baltimore and Jasmine K.

Epic Smash, a daughter of Political Briefing, received a pocket trip behind Miss Baltimore before finding clearance in the stretch. It was the sixth win in 18 lifetime starts for Epic Smash, who was trained by Traci Berry.

Jane Dunavant's Cicada's Song ($2.10, Carlo Poliseno) was an expected dominant winner in 1:59.3 over Chestnut Chic and U Simple Thing. Trained by her driver, it was the 10th win in 14 lifetime starts for the daughter of Dusty Winner.

In the first division for colts and geldings, Chris Yochim's Mondello ($4, Art Stafford Jr.) prevailed in 2:00 over Rojo and Seafood Scrappy. Trained by Daryl Glazer, the Taladega colt brushed to the front near the opening quarter mile and never relented. It was his fourth lifetime win.

The second division saw heavily favored Chipoffthewall ($2.10, Tony Morgan) triumphant in 2:01 for owner/trainer Syl King Jr. over Elton J and Mr. Paul. The Master Lavec-sired gelding recorded his ninth win in 17 career starts.

James Moore III's Royal Becca J ($28.40, Jack Parker Jr.) won the overnight feature, the $16,000 Open Trot in 1:56.3 over There'sademoninme and Awsome Valley.
