The Lindy Farms US-bred mare last started and won on August 7 after a four month layoff. She is now three for three in 2016 and 22 for 46 lifetime, good for 5,876,572SEK earned. Quid Pro Quo (7m Yankee Glide-Hostage-Express Ride) was second for Erik Adielsson (trainer Svante Bath) and Knows Nothing (7m Kadabra-Savvy Yankee-Balanced Image) was third with Ulf Ohlsson up. Today’s event was the Malabar Circle As Prize over 1640 meters with 100,000SEK to the winner.
On the same card the Breeders Crown for two year-olds was contested over 2140 meters autostart with 175,000SEK to the winner and the 1.17.2kr timed winner was 25.5/1 Global Un Poco (2m Conway Hall-Share The Promise-Yankee Glide) driven by Per Linderoth, for trainer Svante Bath. The first time winner bested Global Unbound (2f SJ’s Caviar-RM Impala-Mack Lobell) reined by Daniel Wajersteen and third went to Saranda Face (2f Lavec Kronos-Know It All Face-Viking Kronos) that Ulf Eriksson handled for trainer Lutfi Kolgjini.
The Tre Jonsson Stayer Open (200,000SEK to the winner, 3640 meters distance handicap) went to 1.15.7kr timed and 15.5/1 odds Bullyoung (5g Love You-Greenhill’s Beauty-Comets Tail) that overcame a 20 meter penalty in his victory with Kenth Akerlund up for trainer Robert Bergh. Second was Spitcam Jubb (5g Campbell Hall-Lola Spit-Super Arnie) for driver Kaj Widell. The 60 meter handicapped Narold Vix finished third.
Other winners of interest on the program were Tudor Kronos (4m Raja Mirchi-Malibu Princess-Malabar Man) for Robert Bergh in the Evonella for four year-olds. Timed in 1.13.1kr over 2140 meters autostart this 2.2/1 favorite defeated Broadway Appolo (4m Broadway Hall-Raising Rachel-Yankee Glide) and reinsman Johan Untersteiner to earn 100,000SEK first money. Tudor Kronos has now won seven times in eight 2016 starts. The Serenas for mares, over 1640 meters autostart, with 100,000SEK to the winner, went to 7/1 Debbie B.R. Three year-old Paul The Apostle (3m Pastor Stephen-Blue Drop Sund-Sugarcane Hanover) earned 50,000SEK for victory in the 2640 meter autostart Altins Trafik Trot.
