DOVER, Del.---- With opening day for its 45th season set for Sunday, November 3, the Dover Downs racetrack is now open weeday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon to train horses.
Race Secretary Rod Newhart has scheduled the first draw on Monday, Oct. 28 for the first day of racing, Nov. 3. The Entyry Box will be open to drop-in horses from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon daily. The first week's condition sheet is now available at doverdown.com website.
Dover Downs' 2013-14 meet extends from Nov. 3 through April 10, 2014. Fifteen races will be carded for each race day with Sunday post time at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday racing begins at 4:30 p.m.
There is no charge for parking or admission for harness racing, simulcasting, gaming or dining.
