DOVER, Del.--- Tough Mac is the winningest horses at the track this meet with six wins, one more than Razor Ramone. Delaware Hanover heads the pacing division with five. Movie Idol, winner of the Delaware Special (2/26) has won four in-a-row.

Among trainers,  has startedAmanda Payson 33 horses this meet with 15 winners for a spectacular .552 percentage. Eric Ell, with 106 starters lifted his outstanding UTRS "batting average" to around .450 this meet, Vic Kirby with 15 winners from 55 starters, has a UTRS of .424, Dylan Davis has a .415 rating. Doug Lewis has trained 43 wins from 161 starters. Wayne Givens has started the most horses, 211 and has won 41 races for a .346 percentagel

Aaron Merriman leads all drivers in the sport in 2015. He leads Corey Callahan by five wins 139-134, through 2/27, Defending champion Ronnie Wrenn Jr. is third with 132 wins. Ron Pierce ranks fourth, 87, in winning drives. Ron Burke, is again, the leading trainer, in wins, 88, and money won $1.1-million. Dylan Davis have moved up to fourth among the top 5 trainers in North America with 32 wins.

At Dover Downs, this meet, Corey Callahan has driven winners of 215 races. Allan Davis has reach three-digit wins, second with 110. Vic Kirby has moved into third-place with 97 winners. Ross Wolfenden, currently vacationing until mid-March is fourth, with 92 wins. Ron Pierce is now fifth with 90.

A big week by Dylan Davis results in first place among trainers. Davis, the defending champion, has 47 wins Doug Lewis is second in the standings with 44 wins. Wayne Givens is now third with 42 wins. Jim King is fourth with 40 winners. Nick Surick is in fifth- place with 35 winners.

On Monday (2/23), Virginia Louthan made the winner's circle twice with mares she bred from her own stallion No Spin Zone and also owns and trains; Spin Vision, a 1:54.4 winner of three in-a-row and five wins this meet, and Megginspin won her second in five races.

Harness Horse International (HHI) annual meeting and awards presentation is set for March 1-March 5, in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Sal DeMario, executive director of Delaware Standardbred Owners Association (DSOA) is representing local horsemen. The HHI Dominic Frini Person of the Year, 'will go to past president, Gene Oldfield. The HHI Appreciation Award to Jerry Knappenberger, recent Ohio Hall of Fame inductee, and former Ohio Harness Horsemen's Assoc. GM, and harness horse editor of the Daily Racing Form, Derek Giwner, receives the Clyde Hirt Media award.\
