Dover, Del--- San Fran Lady N and BJ's Sweetheart, both clocked in 1:53.3, won the $15,000 Filly and Mare Winners-Over split divisions on Monday, Dec. 30 at Dover Downs.
With no live racing on New Year's Eve day, San Fran Lady N and BJ's Sweetheart closed out the 2013 portion of the six-month long meet, in diverse styles. Owner-trainer's recent import, San Fran Lady N and took no prisoners en route to her first U.S. victory, in her fourth local start overwhelming a field reduced to five starters with a convincing :27.4 final panel. Timmylynn came on for to finish second in front of Mystra and . Including her earnings in the states, San Fran Lady N, a seven-year-old daughter of former American-breds, Live Or Live-Emcill, has won 19 races and $130,350 lifetime.
In the other $15,000 division, BJ's Sweetheart, driven by, had just enough to hold off a fast finishing Beechwood Diana ( ) and Lloyd's Lady ( ), who finished second and third. Susan and trainer own the sophomore filly by -Artrisma, now a five-time winner this year while earning $90,660.

Dover Downs will be dark on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve day). Live racing resumes on Wednesday, Jan 1, 2014 (New Year's Day) with a $20,000 Open trot feature race. First post on weekdays, Monday through Thursday is 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday are dark days. Sunday racing begins at 5:30 p.m.
