DOVER, Del.----. Steady Pulse led from the start and Charger came from off-the-pace to win the Sunday, Feb. 23 twin-features at Dover Downs.

Tony Morgan and trainer Tim Crissman combined for a driver-trainer triple while Allan Davis and Trace Tetrick also won three races on the card.

Crissman Inc.'s Steady Pulse, an altered son of Quick Pulse Mindale-Topless Hall scooted away from post 2 to take the lead and then was never headed in a 1:54.1 victory in the first of two $9.500 Delaware 4&5-Year-Old paces. Tony Morgan piloted the Tim Crissman trainee to his initial win of the year. The even-money favorite held off Pantheon Seelster (Jonathan Roberts) by a neck at the finish with Suits (Jack Parker Jr.), the only three-year-old in the field third.

In the other co-feature, Charger went at favorite As Bad As Thunder on the backstretch before edging to the front at the three-quarters on the way to a 1:52.4 decision for Trace Tetrick. Grab The Fortune (Vic Kirby) closed to finish second while Panfully Cool (George Dennis) took show money.
