The Patrick Fletcher (Hagersville) trained Dreamfair Eternal notched up her 47th career win in the $121,000 Ellamony Classic on Saturday afternoon (June 26) at Flamboro Downs. The mile event was for harness racing's aged mares.

The 7-year-old daughter of Camluck and - JCs Nathalie started from barrier two and after getting away sixth, Jody Jamieson went wide before sweeping past the field on the final turn to win going away in 1:52.1

It was a just reward for the John Lamers (Ingersolls, Ontario) owned mare, who finished second in the Ellamony behind To Helen Back last year.

Dreamfair Eternal has now won two of her five starts in 2011, and overall has now banked $1,811,475.

She will head to Georgian Downs next Saturday (July 2) for the Master Series eliminations.
