Johnny Takter wins in Germany with Dreams Take Time

Johnny Takter steered 7/1 long shot Dreams Take Time (4m Andover Andover-B My Honey-Viking Kronos) to a close score in 1.14.04kr to win the 2013 edition of the classic Prix Deutschland at Hamburg.

The purse was 200,000 euros over the 2720 meter autostart distance. Sire of the winner was a $170,000 yearling in the U.S. and is a son of Andover Hall from Wac by Malabar Man.

Indigious (4m Prodigious-Indication) was second for Erik Adielsson, owner Stall Express and trainer Stig H. Johansson. Quid Pro Quo (4m Yankee Glide-Hostage) was third for teamster Ake Svanstedt with Call Me Hanover (4g Kadabra-Chiptease-Pin e Chip) fourth for Per Lennartsson. Favored Clint W. Boko finished seventh.
