Five harness racing drivers across Australasia will wear specially made promotional silks in the lead up to the TAB.COM.AU Inter Dominion Qualifying Heats on February 16.
Each set of silks will resemble the colours synonymous to the individual state/country to promote a Trans Tasman and State against State rivalry. Drivers will commence wearing the silks from February 3.
The decision to wear the silks in the Qualifying Heat of the Inter Dominion is left to the driver in conjunction with the trainer and owner.
Although Queensland is not running a Qualifying Heat this year, there will still be a set of colours promoting the TAB.COM.AU Inter Dominion in that state.
The selected drivers in the various jurisdictions and the associated silks are as follows;
New South Wales - Robbie Morris - Sky Blue with Inter Dominion Logo
New Zealand - Mark Purdon - Black with Inter Dominion Logo
Queensland - Grant Dixon - Maroon with Inter Dominion Logo
Victoria - Kate Gath - Navy Blue with Inter Dominion Logo
Western Australia - Gary Hall Jnr - Gold with Inter Dominion Logo
