Dumbo (4m Wishing Stone-Lipstick Jungle-Varenne) won today’s Dansk Trav Derby at Charlottenlund in Denmark to secure the 650,000Dkr first money, timed in 1.14.3kr over the 3000 meter autostart course.

Trainer Gordon Dahl teamed with winner to his third career victory in 23 appearances, now for 1,168,070Dkr earned.

He was off at 20.5/1 odds.

The 10/1 Donatello Garbo (4m Wishing Stone-Ganya Garbo-Earthquake) was second for Rene Kjaer and third Was 5/1 Dortmund (4g Timoko) with trainer Marc Baek Niuelsen aboard. Diamant Ostenvang and Diamond Winds completed the top five. The 2.7/1 favorite Daytona was a dq.

The Derby Consolation also was raced over 3000 meters autostart (purse 50,000kr) and it went to 1.13.8kr timed and 4.9/1 odds Da Vinci Peak (4g Gift Kronos-Nikaia-Prince Mystic) with Thomas Uhrberg aboard.
