E L Titan 4,1:51.2f ($683,073) the four year old son of Muscle Hill – Courtney Hall, will make his final start on Saturday at The Meadowlands in the $400,000 TVG Free For All Final. He will then be brought to Southwind Farm in Pennington, New Jersey, to begin freezing his semen for export to Europe.
Under the management of Southwind Farm, EL Titan will then be sent to Tara Hills Stud in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada, where he will stand the 2016 season for a fee of $7,500. The stallion bred a limited book of mares in 2015, while he trained and raced for EMP-Invest Oy and trainer Riina Rekila.
A multiple stakes winner at 2 and 3, including the International Stallion Stakes, Madison County Trot, Carl Erskine Memorial, and Galt Memorial, EL Titan took his record of 1:51.2f this year, winning the Sebastian K. Invitational. He was also second in last year’s Canadian Trotting Classic, American National and Breeder Crown.
El Titan hails from a family loaded with stallions, as his dam, stakes winning COURTNEY HALL 3,1:55.4 ($118,986) is a full sister to the dam of CANTAB HALL 3,1:54 ($1,442,303) and is from the immediate maternal family of ANDOVER HALL, 3,1:51.3 ($870,510), CONWAY HALL 3,1:53.4 ($818,884) and ANGUS HALL 3,1:54.3 ($830,654).
