Up until this winter North American racing fans had probably never heard of Ewie Duncan N, but he's a horse that is quickly making a name for himself.

The five-year-old son of Live Or Die – Young Ros stormed to an impressive win in the $85,000 final of this year's Complex Series at the Big M on January 27, and tonight he cruised to a career-best clocking of 1:50.3 in the $35,000 winners over pace.

David Miller sat last in the early stages of the mile with the Ross Croghan-trainee, who advanced on the rim with cover before blowing past all of his rivals in the lane. Jennas Choice (Dan Dube) set the pace and held for second and All Over The Place (Ron Pierce) tagged along to grab third prize.

It was the fourth win of the season in six starts for the gelding, who upped his career earnings to just shy of the $100,000 mark with the win for partners Robert Cooper and the Let It Ride Stables Inc. of Florida.
