Two eliminations for the Grand Prix de L’Uet were raced today at Paris-Vincennes, each for a 60,000€ purse and raced over 2100 meters autostart. The first saw 6/10 favorite Gotland (4m Ready Cash-Sanawa) score in 1.12.5kr with Eric Raffin up for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire.
This J.P. Guay bred performer won for the 12th time in his career now for 547,500€ earned. The 6/1 Golden Bridge (4m Ready Cash-Usenza) with David Thomain up was second for trainer Allaire and owner Michel Tessier. 6.3/1 Goulette (4f Up And Quick) was third for Franck Nivard, Ecurie AB Trot and trainer Philippe Billard.
Gotland
The second elim saw 5/10 favorite Gu d’Heripre (4m Coktail Jet-Vedetta d’Heripre) record a 1.11.7kr timed victory. Franck Nivard teamed this Billard trainee for Ecurie d’Heripre. This was the winners’ 11th career victory for 435,550€ earned. 25/1 Gallant Way (4m Ready Cash-Queen Flore) was second with Anthony Barrier up for trainer Allaire and legendary journalist owner/breeder Jacques Pauc. Green Grass (4f Bold Eagle-Tootsie Smiling), off at 7.8/1 odds, finished third for pilot Mathieu Mottier, trainer Sebastian Guarato and owner Sebastian Dewulf.
Gu d’Heripre
On the undercard trainer Philippe Allaire won three, first in the Prix Myrrha (27,000€ purse, 2100 meters autostart, two year olds) with Iacari des Maurins (2m Very Nice Marceaux) teamed with David Thomain for owner Allaire and clocked in 1.16.3kr for his maiden victory. In the Prix Diotina (29,000 purse, 2100 meters autostart, three-year olds)
Heafle Cash (3m Ready Cash-Bambola) scored in 1.14.1kr for pilot Francois Lagadeuc, trainer Allaire and owner Ecurie des Charmes, his third career win. Next was the Prix les Echos Week End Le Parisien (purse 55,000€, 2100 meters autostart, European three-year olds) and Hohneck (3m Royal Dream-Caranca) scored for owner/trainer Allaire. J.P. Guay bred this now five time career winner that was timed in 1.12.5kr.
Subsequently legendary J.P. Dubois had a winner in the Prix Alkmere (purse 29,000€, 2100 meters autostart, four year olds) as Go Quickly (4g Up And Quick-Trotting Race) scored gate to wire in 1.12.5kr with Eric Raffin up. This Ecurie D bred trotter is trained by J.A. Hernandez-Navarro and he now has three career victories.
