As a result of Somebeachsomewhere's first crop of phenomenal 2-year-olds earning an all-time record $4.7 million last season and siring both the 2YO Colt and 2YO Filly of the Year, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE is now poised to be the greatest pacing stallion in the world.

This first crop, now 3-year-olds, is led by 2012's North America Pacer of the Year Captaintreacherous - a 1:48.3 winner of over $1.7 million including the $1 Million North America Cup in June.

Somebeachsomewhere is dominating the 3-year-old ranks with $2.7 million in progeny earnings already this season from 102 3-year-old starters for 73 winners, 71 in 2:00 and 52 in 1:55. Other notable performers by Somebeachsomewhere include 2012 2YO Filly of the Year Somwherovrainbow 1:51.2 ($603,411), L Dees Lioness 1:50.2 ($743,484), Beach Memories 1:48.3 ($158,717), Apprentice Hanover 1:49.4 ($294,887), etc.

Somebeachsomewhere also led all sires in the sales ring in 2012 with his 83 yearlings averaging a very impressive $83,681 at public auction.

Due in part to Beach's unprecedented first group success and the enormous increase in the value of the Stallion, a majority of the Somebeachsomewhere's Syndicate Members voted not to return Somebeachsomewhere to Australia this season, but unanimously agreed to provide frozen semen to Southern Hemisphere breeders.

Empire Stallions has been appointed the exclusive agents for Somebeachsomewhere's frozen semen in the Southern Hemisphere. "Empire is pleased to act on behalf of the Syndicate in the sale of Somebeachsomewhere's frozen semen" said David James, principal of Empire Stallions. "There wouldn't be many people in the pacing world today that would disagree with the statement that Somebeachsomewhere is the greatest and most valuable Stallion available to breeders in any hemisphere."

Empire Stallions has also attained the exclusive frozen semen rights for the sensational 3YO USA Pacer of the Year Well Said - a 1:47.3 record performer and a winner of over $2.5 million as a 2 & 3-year-old. Well Said won such classics as the Little Brown Jug, the $1 Million Meadowlands Pace, the $1 Million North America Cup and the Breeders Crown en route to divisional honours and was retired to stand at Hanover Shoe Farms in 2010. Well Said is a classically bred stallion being by Western Hanover out of the 1:52 Artsplace mare Must See who is also a full sister to World Champion Glowing Report.

Well Said's first crop of yearlings sold for an average of $55,000 in 2012 and after only 3 weeks of trials and qualifiers this season, Well Said is already the sire of 47 starters, 17 winners and 15 in 2:00 or faster.

We are extremely confident that Well Said will cross with Australian mares beautifully while adding a new dimension of speed and endurance on the racetrack.

EMPIRE STALLIONS is very pleased to announce that the outstanding proven sire Western Terror will stamp his passport when he arrives on August 21st to stand in at its Victorian-based farm in Avenel.

A siring sensation on both continents, Western Terror is one of the most prolific sires of his generation with total progeny earnings of over $40 million to date. Western Terror has sired multiple Breeders Crown Champions, a North American Cup Winner, a Jugette Winner, a 3YO Filly of the Year along with a host of multiple stakes and grand circuit winners to his credit.

In Australasia, Western Terror has made his mark on the racing scene with such standout performers as the two-time New Zealand Cup and Jewel Winner TERROR TO LOVE 1:51 ($1,544,667), the 2013 Miracle Mile Winner BABY BLING 1:50.5 ($749,478), NSW Breeders Challenge 2 & 3 Year Old Winner VERTIGAL 1:55.8 ($317,380), Cranbourne Cup Winner TERRORWAY 1:52.6 ($364,384), the Group 2 QBred Final Winner TERROR TIME 1:55.1 ($221,710), etc. In Australia, Western Terror's statistics are remarkable - from 182 foals he has sired 117 starters, 87 winners with earnings of over $3.6 million and average earnings per starter of $31,314.

On the racetrack, Western Terror took a race record of 1:48.3 banking over $1.1 Million. A winner of such classics as the Breeders Crown, the Cane Pace, the Tattersalls Pace and the Bluegrass Stake, Western Terror was crowned 3-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year in Canada.

"Empire Stallions is thrilled to be standing the exceptional sire Western Terror this season" said David James, Principal of Empire Stallions. We are certain that Western Terror will continue to make a big impact on the down under racing scene for many years to come."
