The Gr. III Prix du Roule (purse €65,000, 2875 meters) was a competitive event taken by late rallying, 17/1 Discours Joyeux (3m Goetmals Wood-Quelle Capine) with Eric Raffin up. Thierry Raffegeau trains this 1.15.6kr clocked winner for J-Y Roze that was bred by SC Elevage de Folleville. 2/1 favorite Dream Darling (3m Sam Bourbon-Lets Go Darling) was a close second after a tough outside journey for owner Jean-Pierre Dubois and trainer Yves Boireau that gained the advantage mid-stretch but could not hold off the winner. 7/2 Dream de Nilrem (3g Jet Fortuna-Naomi de Chamant) was third for trainer/driver Frederick Pratt.

Matthieu Abrivard was the pilot for Jorgen Westholm. The 7/10 favorite Bolero Love (5m Love You-Orelady) was next for Gabriele Gelormini and Sebastian Guarato, the trainer. Ecurie D bred this one. 5/1 Indigious (7m Prodigious-Indication) was third for Bjorn Goop and trainer Fabrice Souloy.
The Prix de la Bourse (purse €44,000, 2150 meters autostart, 16 European starters) was an Italian sweep led by 1.12.7kr winner, 6.8/1 odds, Pancottina Bar (7f Varenne-Valota Lavec) racing shoeless. Roberto Andreghetti drove the Vitale Ciotola trainee that is owned by Scuderia Stecca SRL. 2.2/1 favorite Powell Bi (7m Toss Out-Gulfstream) was second for trainer/driver Marcello Vecchione and Scuderia Lunaset SRL. Oro Fks (8m Unronometro-Fuschini America) rallied for third at 45/1 with Christophe Martens up for Vincent Martens and Scuderia Strebe SRL, this one also racing barefoot.
