Matthieu Abrivard, a leading international and French harness racing driver, was seriously injured in a pre-race accident Monday at Chartres.

Abrivard’s mount reared and fell on him causing multiple fractures and a lengthy recovery period.

  • Ouch (6g Viking Kronos-Hot Enough-Malabar Man) won the 32,000 euro Grand Prix Duran Dynavena over 2950 meters at Toulouse on May 30. He scored in 1.16.6kr for Christophe Martens

  • Sandra Volo (4f Cantab Hall-Sandra Victory-Valley Victory) scored in 1.12.1kr at Aby on May 30 over 1640 meters, autostart. The recent US import was handled by Angelica Jonsson for trainer Ake Svanstedt. Winners share of the purse was 30,000SEK

  • Black Photo (6m SJs Photo-She’s for Me-Supergill) scored at Aby in 1.12.0kr over 1640 meters, autostart for Stefan Soderkvist. Purse to the winner was 40,000SEK

  • Mellby Artist (4g Credit Winner-Paula-Buvetier d’Aunou) won for Lutfi Kolgjini in 1.12.8kr at Tingsryd over 1609 meters, autostart. Winners’ purse share was 20,000SEK
