October 12, 2015 - Bernard Piton teamed the Johan Untersteiner trained Falcon Haleryd (6g Varenne-Falnos Bellona) to victory in today’s Quinte+ Prix des Gobelins (purse €54,000, 2150 meters autostart, 16 European entrants) at Enghien-Soisy.

The Stall Invexbro AB owned winner was clocked in 1.13.3kr and was off at 2.9/1 odds.

11.4/1 Olympic Kronos (7g Viking Kronos-Ebony Kronos) was second for Dominik Locqueneux, trainer Lutfi Kolgjini and Sydmetall U. Lindberg AB with 13/1 Unique de l’Iton third and 6/1 Olimpus Caf (7m Varenne-Evola’Caf) third for Gabriel Gelormini.

Holders of €2 tickets with exact order (excluding jackpot) earned over €71,000 payoff.

Le Beller also teamed Avenir de Blay (5g Hooper-Mirabelle de Blay) to victory in the €49,000 purse Prix la Pomnte d’Issy contested over 2875 meters by 16 participants. This 3/2 odds winner was timed in 1.15.4kr and is also owned and trained by Tony Le Beller.

Of interest on the Enghien card were the two year-old Prix du Pont Mirabeau (purse €32,000, 2150 meters autostart, 13 starters) that went to 8/1 odds, 1.17.8kr clocked d’Annette Boko (2f The Best Madrik-Jane Square) for teamster Robin Bakker and trainer Paul Hagoort. She defeated the 2.3/1 favorite Diva Ferfay (2f Prince d’Espace-Unite de Fael) that is trained and owned by Sebastien Guarato.

The €47,000 Prix de la Place du Canada over 2875 meters for 12 European monte specialists went to the 1.4/1 odds favorite Amour Fou (5g Meaulnes du Corta-Nice Star) timed in 1.15.2kr for jockey Eric Raffin and trainer Thierry Raffegeau.
