Dad's always have a great time at the track however this Father's Day is something special at Buffalo Raceway. The track is featuring free pony rides, sno cones, cotton candy and clown appearances for the kids, so dad can focus on his harness racing handicapping.

The racing action gets underway at 1:05 pm for the 13 race card that features the New York Sire Stakes three year-old colt pacers competing for over $150,000 in purses in four divisions.

Freshman champion He’s Gorgeous who has earned over $325,000 will look to get back to his 2009 form for owner Ken Jacobs and trainer Linda Toscano, in the first division (Race 3). Art Two D Two with Matt Kakaley aboard won’t have the luxury of the rail like he did last week in his win at Monticello as he drew post 8. The rail went to Ray Schnittker’s Mystery Island who will have Stephane Bouchard in the sulky.

In Race 4, the second division Hanks Kid trained by William Popfinger, will race seven others including Ok Cognac, Screenplay and Cruiseomatic.

George Teague’s entry Windfall Blue Chip with Jim Morrill, Jr highlights the third division (Race 6). Also in the sixth race are Upfront Cosmo driven by Jason Bartlett and local horse Virtual Escape trained by Jim Graham who will be driven by Ray Fisher Jr.

In the final division (Race 8) Bluff Point trained by Ron Burke looks to stay on gait after breaking at Monticello last week. I’m Gorgeous from the Teague stable, Drummerboy Hanover (Erv Miller) and Forty Carrots (Kathleen Allen) should also factor in your trifecta tickets.

Of the 31 colts/geldings entered 9 are Bettor’s Delight offspring, 8 - Art Major, 5 - Artiscape, 3 – Pro Bono Best and 3 – Dream Away.

As always, admission and parking to the Raceway is free.

Catch all the action at Buffalo Raceway with free parking and admission Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with a 6:40 pm first post-time, and a 1:05 pm first post on Sunday.
