Billie de Montfort won tonights' Gr. II Prix Masina at Paris-Vincennes for Eric Raffin.

Timed in 1.13.9kr over the 2100 meter autostart course, the three year-old daughter of Jasmin de Flore won for the seventh time, now for earnings of 301,200e for owner Philippe Dauphin. The talented filly is trained by Sebastian Guarato as she defeated 12 rivals including Beauty Turgot and Franck Nivard. Summary is shown below.

The companion for three year-old males, named the Gr. II Prix Paul Karle, went to Brillantissime (by Ready Cash) handled by Jos. Verbeeck for trainer Philippe Allaire and breeder/owner Frederik Sauque.

The winner led throughout in a rated pace with the J-P Dubois reined Bioness (by Sam Bourbon) alongside. As the field neared the stretch Verbeeck asked for speed and Brillantissime responded, opening three lengths before holding off fast-closing Brutus de Bailly (a Niky colt) and Bixente (by Quaker Jet) as the line approached. The winner recorded his sixth victory.
