The Panderosa horse, Town Champion, a 1:48.4 winner and $410,000 stakes earner, who stands at Stallion Station's Toolern Vale farm, was credited by his first winner when the two-year-old Who Thru Teddy emerged successful at his first start at Gloucester Park last night (January 19).

The medium of solid support after some impressive trials form, the gelding was given a saloon passage by ace reinsman Chris Lewis from the outset.

Switched three-wide approaching the straight entrance, Who Thru Teddy knuckled down to his task in resolute style and charged past his rivals in the latter stages to win by almost a length.

Who Thru Teddy returned a smart 1:58.4 mile rate after good sectionals of 28.5, 30.4, 30.4 and 29.9.

Bred by Robert Watson, a senior partner in Stallion Station, the gelding is the second foal of the unraced Art Parfait, a Perfect Art mare from Like Hell, by Golden Greek from the Racy Prince mare Lincoln Princess.

Like Hell also ranks as the dam of the dual Gloucester Park winner Devils Playmate (by Safely Kept).

This is the immediate family of a top pacer in Lincoln Storm 1:58.6 ($375,011), the winner of 41 races including two Fremantle Cups, and the prolific Moonee Valley victor Raid The Till ($99,500).
