ANDERSON, Ind.-January 8, 2016 – Stall applications are now available for the upcoming 2016 live harness racing season at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. The downloadable form, which includes all pertinent information, can be found on Hoosier Park's website or by clicking here.
Stall applications must be received by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino's race office by no later than February 12, 2016. Applications for stall space are required for both stalls in the barn area, as well as horsemen wishing to ship in to race at Hoosier Park. Horsemen receiving stalls will be notified of their allotment by mid-February.
Building upon the successes of the 2015 live race meet, Hoosier Park's 23rd season of live harness racing will kick off on April 1, 2016. Live racing at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will follow a Friday, Saturday schedule the opening week, a Thursday, Friday, Saturday schedule the second week and then resume a Tuesday through Saturday schedule throughout the remainder of the meet. With a new, daily post time of 5:45 p.m. each night, the live racing season will be conducted through November 12, 2016.
Once again, Hoosier Park will solely host Indiana's harness racing and offer an action-packed stakes season. Hoosier Park's signature event, the $300,000 Dan Patch Stakes, is slated for Friday, August 12. For more information on the 2016 stakes schedule, please click here.
