ANDERSON, IN—Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will continue the Standardbred season as they host FarmTastic, a farm themed and family friendly day at the races on Saturday, Sept. 7. The event is free to the public, and will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Yard, concluding with a fireworks presentation.
Sponsored by the White River Heritage Antique Association, the event will feature an antique tractor exhibit, with more than 50 antique tractors on display. FarmTastic will also include children’s activities, live Standardbred racing, farm food favorites, live entertainment, and giveaways. The farm food favorites will include barbeque, ice cold beverages, and lemon shake-ups. Free sweet corn and watermelon will be available while supplies last.
Hoosier Park’s ‘Family Fun’ Saturdays will also continue on Sept. 7 with pedal tractor games, a bounce house, face painting and more. The family friendly atmosphere will feature designated areas and activities to accommodate all guests.

Also making a special appearance on the evening will be Hoosier Park’s All-Star drivers. All 12 of the All-Star drivers will put their talents on display and compete in a pari-mutuel race slated as the sixth race on the evening’s 14-race card. Each of the All-Star Driver’s will be competing to earn money for their respective charities.
In conjunction with all the action taking place on the track, the Indiana Standardbred Association will also have a booth located in the Yard and will hold drawings for farm and home themed prizes throughout the evening. Guests can also enter to be a part of the popular “I Win, You Win” promotion. Just as it sounds, the “I Win, You Win” promotion gives patrons the chance to win a $25 Hoosier Park gift card if one of the All-Star Drivers wins a race on the Friday or Saturday night’s card.
Live racing at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will follow a Tuesday-Saturday schedule with a daily post time of 5:30 p.m. The 160-day, all harness racing meet began on April 2 and will be conducted through November 9.
