ANDERSON, Ind.-May 14, 2014 - Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will play host to a special matinee card of live harness racing on Friday, May 16 with an adjusted post time of 1 p.m.
A total of 14 races will compliment the afternoon festivities showcasing exciting horse racing action, fan-friendly activities, and giveaways. The matinee card of live harness racing will be the prelude to a night full of entertainment as country music legend Clint Black will take Hoosier Park's Terrace Showroom stage at 8 p.m.
In conjunction with the earlier post time, Fridays at Hoosier Park, dubbed 'Fan-tastic Fridays', feature $1 beers, $1 hot dogs and $1 live racing programs and will also start at 1 p.m. Also on Fridays, racing fans will be welcomed to enter the 'Beat the Big Guy' promotion for a chance to win up to $250 in race wagering.
To enter, guests must submit their designated win selections for races 3 through 8. The participant who earns the most in winnings and beats Rod 'The Big Guy' Ratcliff, Centaur's chairman and chief executive officer, will win $250 in race wagering. All participants earning more winnings than 'The Big Guy' will have a chance at another $500 in a next day drawing.
The 14-race card will be highlighted by two divisions of the "Go On BB" late closing series, an event open to fillies and mares that are non-winners of 2 pari-mutuel starts or $15,000 lifetime. At the conclusion of the live racing card, Hoosier Park will prepare for Clint Black to take the stage at 8 p.m. with gates opening at 7:15 p.m.

With more than 30 singles on the US Billboard country charts, 22 of which have reached number one, Clint Black will make a stop at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino as part of the 2014 concert line-up in the brand-new Terrace Showroom. The 1,200-seat, state-of-the-art indoor facility features custom built and cushioned theater-style seating and an arena quality light and sound system. Additionally, 14 luxurious private suites complete with personal thirty-two inch HDTVs, modern lounge furniture, and a premium-dining menu will be available.

Concertgoers may also purchase directly from the box offices located in Shelby's Gifts at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino or the Logo Shop located at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino.
