Pacesetter Express Duo (4m Express It-Dolce Merett-Carpe Diem) was third for Pekka Korpi. Takter was able to rate Corky perfectly the entire mile, keeping him in second place and then collaring the race leader on the final turn and pulling away in the stretch and then holding on to the wire.

The winner scored for the eighth time in 27 starts now for earnings of 6,407,773SEK including today's 500,000SEK to winning connections.
