A field of nine lined up for the featured harness racing event on Friday at Harrah's Philly, an upper-conditioned level affair for filly and mare pacers.
At the start, it was George Tackley's Bring Them Home (Geo. Napolitano Jr.) who left aggressively for the lead from post five, while 3-year-old filly Angel Plus (Scott Zeron) secured the pocket by the quarter in :26.4.
Ron Burke trainee Charisma Hanover floated out from post seven but could not find an early spot. She was forced to challenge the leader at the half (:55.2).
The battle continued to the three-quarter pole (1:22.4) and that's when Jeffrey Weiner trainee I Do It Myself (Corey Callahan) made her move three wide.
She took the lead just beyond head stretch and drew away winning by three lengths, stopping the clock in 1:51.2, a lifetime's best.
Bring Them Home finished a game second, while Our Els Dream N (David Miller) rallied for third.
It was the 38th career win for I Do It Myself, who is owned by Gary Mc Laughlin. She paid $22.40.
