Tonight’s Paris-Vincennes program featured excellent trotting and the celebration of the Franco-Chinese relationship. 
 
The featured Grand Prix China Horse Industrial Park was contested over 2700 meters.  This  Gr.  III monte test carried a purse of €110,000 and went to the Franck Nivard teamed, Franck Leblanc owned and trained Sourire de Voutre. The eight year old gelded son of Gazouillis scored in 1.13.7kr over Italy’s Nene’Degli Ulivi with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons, as the slight favorite. The winner recorded his 16th career victory.

The secondary feature, the Grand Prix de L’Annee du Cheval for €58,000 purse, went to Italy’s Pancottina Bar (5f Varenne-Valuto Lavec-Sugarcane Hanover) trained by Catello Savarese for owner Scuderia Stecca.

The winner scored for teamster Pierre Vercruysse in 1.12kr over 2100 meters autostart. Vulcania de Godrel  finished second for Franck Ouvrie and Porpora Lux, another Italian entrant, ended third for reinsman Roberto Andreghetti.

The evening’s Quinte+ race of the day in France (jackpot €4.450,000) was the Grand Prix L’Amitie Franco-Chinoise 50eme Anniversaire,

This 2100 meter autostart event carried a purse of €58,000 for European starters of which there were 18.

Germany’s pacesetting King Of The World scored in 1.12.7kr at 19.8/1 odds for driver Michael Nimczyk, trainer Wolfgang Nimczyk and owner Johann Lenz.

King Of The World is an accomplished five year-old son of Magnificent Rodney (Nordin Stable star of a few years ago) that now has 15 career wins for €88,007 as most of his racing has been in Germany for low purses.

In fact, King Of The World has posted, since May 6, 2013, 12 wins and 4 placings in 16 appearances. Italy’s Ringostarr Treb, a four year-old son of Classic Photo, was second for driver Vercruysse and trainer Holger Ehlert. The Quinte+ exact order payoff was over €116,000 for a €2 play.

Later in the card three year-old fillies contested the Grand Prix des Enterprises Chinoises en France – Trophee China Telecom for a purse of €36,000.

Sixteen starters battled over 2100 meters autostart with the win going to 5.8/1 odds Braga (by Oiseau de Feux), owned and trained by J.M.A. Roussel and reined by Pierre Vercruysse. The winner recorded her second lifetime win. The Quaker Jet filly Bakerloo Line was second in this event, timed in 1.14.4kr.

1st Braga (3f Oiseau de Feux-Quelle Joie), Pierre Vercruysse up for owner/trainer J.M.A. Roussel, 5.8/1, her second career victory for €31,610 earned

2nd Bakerloo Line (3f Quaker Jet-Fenatoria), J. Koubiche, 5.7/1

3rd Bienvenue du Gers (3f Quinoa du Gers-La Chasse Verte), Roberto Andreghetti up for trainer Fabrice Souloy, 61.5/1

Other venues in France and Switzerland also hosted good racing this day. Sullighan took the €34,000 Prix Credit Agricole Normandie at Cherbourg. The veteran eight year-old gelded son of Sancho Panca scored in 1.14.2kr over 2625 meters for Mme. C. Hallais-Dersoir.

At Toulouse Le Capiere, the G.P. Dynavenu Maisagri Duran for €35,000 went to Rambo Jet reined by R.W. Denecher. The nine year-old son of Goetmals Wood scored at 23.6/1 over Jean-Etienne Dubois’ Turbo Jet (by Joyau d’Amour).

At Avenches (Switzerland) the €16,378 Coupe des 5 Ans Suisse went to 3/5 favorite Playboy Wind with trainer Wilhelm Paal aboard for Stall Allegra Racing. The five year-old son of In Love With You scored in 1.16kr over the 2350 meter course.
