Bluebird Jamaican (Southwind Elian) won the Spa Loyalty Claiming Series Final on Friday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

The $25,000 Series Final was contested at a distance of 1¼ miles and the distance looked to serve Bluebird Jamaican very well.

The Jody Weidman-trained four year old romped in the Series' first leg and was a solid second in leg two before outtrotting his rivals home to win in 2:31.2 in the mile and a quarter Final.

Jay Randall piloted Bluebird Jamaican to the biggest win of the young trotter's career who returned $10.40 to win.

Passat Blue Chip (Stephane Bouchard) was the race's runner up while Jesse Say More (Jim Devaux) finished third.

The two consolation races as part of the series were won by Tymal Breezee (Alek Chartrand) and Net Revenue (Jordan Derue).

The Spa Loyalty Pacing Series Final takes place on Saturday and will also be contested for a purse of $25,000.

Live racing begins on Saturday night at 6:45pm.
