Net Revenue (Revenue S) became the only trotter to win both legs of the Spa Spring Claiming Series as the seven year old harness racing mare scored on the lead on Friday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.
Jordan Derue owns, trains and drives Net Revenue who moved out to the early lead in the $7,500 leg two of the claiming series and never looked back.
She heads into next Sunday's (June 28) series final as the only trotter to record wins in both legs.
On Friday night, Derue's trotter covered the mile and 1/16 in 2:06 just one week after setting a lifetime mark in leg one.
In the other division contested on Friday night, Dangerismybusiness (Revenue S) paid immediate dividends for his new connections as he prevailed in 2:05.2 to punch his ticket to next Sunday's $16,300 series final.
Austin Siegelman piloted the six year old trotter to a convincing victory at odds of 1-5 for trainer Kathleen Allen.
Dangerismybusiness was claimed out of leg two of the series by trainer Phil Fluet who had the trotter for the last couple of seasons before the claim last week. The series final will be contested at a distance of 1¼ mile.
Live racing continues on Saturday night at Saratoga featuring a pick five carryover of $3201.
First post time is set for 6:45pm.
