Charlottetown, PE - Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park will feature the Future Stars of Racing on Saturday June 28 at 11:00 am.

The two-year-old horses will strut their stuff on the racetrack while customers of all ages can enjoy hot dogs and pop from the trackside patio during the event.

Trainers can enter their horses by Noon on Thursday June 26 at the race office or by calling 1.902.629.6634

Fillies and Mares Open to Andro Madi

Charlottetown, PE- Andro Madi won the Fillies and Mares open pace Thursday at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The mare stopped the timer in a dazzling 1:56 flat.

Driver Dale Spence sent the Jonah Moase trainee to the front carving fractions of 27.4, 57.1 and 1:26.2. General Luckypercy finished second with Stayoutofmyaffair closing for third. This was Andro Madi's fourth win from 17 starts this season.

In other action, Sandhill Angel converted a pocket trip to score in the evening's trot class for driver Kenny Arsenault. Arsenault, who participated in the annual Hall of Fame golf tournament earlier in the day, did the driving for owner Glen Claybourne of Charlottetown.

Driver Ron Matheson is only five victories away from career win 1,000 after taking top honors with Artners in Crime in race 10. Bobbi Jo Gaudet is the owner while Jackie Matheson trains.

Driver Marc Campbell had a driving triple on tonight's program.
