All Turain, in prior win, scored his tenth straight at Red Shores

Charlottetown, PE - All Turain used different tactics but the results were the same. The Trevor Hicken trainee, under the command of Brodie MacPhee, came off the pace to catch fraction setter Touch of Lightning in deep stretch to notch his 10th victory in a row in the Saturday feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Co-owner Lee Hicken, Charlottetown, was also in the winner's circle for the presentation. The time of the mile was 1:58. Judge Jon finished third with Perfect Escape fourth. Track announcer Vance Cameron laid out his top selections in the pre-race show going with the 6-2-4-3 combination nailing the exactor, triactor and even the superfecta with his picks.

MacPhee also scored with Machinthesand to record the fastest mile of the night of 1:56.1 for trainer Mark Bradley and his owners Noonan Holdings Ltd - Russell & Karen Noonan, Middleton, PE.

Bradley was in the driver's seat aboard long-shot Presto Pegasus when they captured the open trot in 2:01.3. The trotter is owned by William Andrew, Calgary, Alberta and Rachel Andrew, Milton Station. Caliban Hanover finished second but was placed sixth for interference on favorite Abundaspin in the first turn. Pleasure Girls inherited second while Zip the Lip was moved up to third to complete the triactor.

Jason Hughes and Marc Campbell recorded driving doubles on the 12 dash card.
