Charlottetown, PE - "Pinner and Campbell unstoppable at Charlottetown" boomed track announcer Vance Cameron as the pacer extended his winning streak to eight Saturday at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino. The time of the mile was 1:59 flat for Pinner. Judges rated the CDP oval as good with a one second variant due to rain when the feature race went behind the starting gate.

Marc Campbell, who enjoyed a driving triple to take the lead in the driver standings in 2014, sent the Brian Ladner trainee to front yielding briefing to Cambest Kisser on route to the opening quarter in a stiff 28.3 before re-claiming command of the tempo through splits of 59.2 and 1:30.1. The one length charted victory was over Miracle Matts (Corey MacPherson) while Cambest Kisser (Jason Hughes) completed the triactor. The 3-4-6 combination returned $43.90. Pinner is owned by Brian, Kevin and Lillian Ladner of Charlottetown.

Mcmaverick beat Camcun by a nose to claim the back-up class in 1:58 for the fastest mile of the day. Ken Murphy engineered the trip for owner - trainer Keith Campbell of Tyne Valley.

Wonderous Hanover, in line to Mike McGuigan, delivered as the post time favorite in the trot class. The mare is owned by Mitchell Tierney, Cornwall and William Andrew, Calgary, Alberta.

Miramonttogo delighted long shot players when driver Irwin Neill was able to rally the pacer to score in race 6. The win ticket paid $88.70.
