CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - Forever Paradise will aim to topple seven foes in the Thursday night feature at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at The Charlottetown Driving Park.

First race post time is 7 pm for the 12-dash card.

Marc Campbell will sit behind Forever Paradise from post 3 in the race 11 $2,000 feature pace for trainer Kevin MacLean and owner Reg MacPherson of Stratford. The four-year-old son of Western Paradise was a top stakes performer on the east coast the past two years but had spent much of 2014 racing in the United States. He has registered a 1:55.1 victory since returning to P.E.I., and race analyst Les MacIsaac will place his faith in the pacer.

"He Has not been worse than second since returning to familiar surroundings and last time out earned an impressive new speed badge," MacIsaac said of Forever Paradise. "Don't rule out a repeat."

He will face two tough rivals in Perfect Escape (Ron Matheson) and IDK (Vincent Poulton), who both show miles in 1:55 and change. Other entries include Mcjestic (Corey MacPherson), Cambest Kisser (Jason Hughes), First Art Down (Ken Murphy), Teddys Place (Thane Arsenault) and Cabo Pan Lucas (Daniel MacDonald).

The $1,850 Open trot lines up in race 5 with Zip The Lip favoured from post 5 for driver Brian MacPhee and trainer Donald Sweet. Sweet co-owns with fellow O'Leary resident Orville Willis. The six-year-old son of Ken Warkentin leaves from post 5 and brings in impressive form with a 2:01.2 victory in his last outing and a bang-up second the start before in the $10,700 P.E.I. Trotting Series final, won by Mopey Corey.

His competition in the Thursday night Open trot includes Pleasure Girls (MacPherson), Saulsbrook Balance (Willie Murphy), Lyrical Lindy (Hughes), Honeymoonisover (Brian Andrew), Caliban Hanover (Ron Gass), Frill Seeker (Kenny Arsenault) and Howmacs Pride (Campbell).

Atlantic Canada's top pacing mares will go full throttle in race 9 for a $2,250 pot. Race Analyst MacIsaac selects post 1 starter Stayoutofmyaffair to land in the winner's circle for trainer-driver Hughes and owner Robi Hughes of Stratford.

"Having been first or second in four of her last five starts should tell you all you need to know about her current form," MacIsaac said. "The rail just adds to her appeal."

She will have to fight off a field of seven including the Jackie Matheson trained duo of For All We Know (Gary Chappell) and General Luckypercy (Ron Matheson).
