Paymenowpaymelater continues to grab all the money she can, now or later, it doesn't seem to matter.

On Thursday night at Red Shores Charlottetown the filly continued her winning way rhyming off her seventh straight victory in her division of the PEI Colt Stakes for two-year-old trotters. Marc Campbell hustled the daughter of Northern Bailey off of the gate, clearing to the lead just past the quarter and they never looked back winning in 2:07.4.

The undefeated filly is owned Wade Peconi and Earl Watts. Wait For Me finished second and Balanced Bailey was third. The win was part of the Campbell early double he also won with Astronomical Union.

Windemere Ty in-line to young gun Jack Panting took the fastest two-year-old division, Panting co-owns the son of Nureyev with his grandfather and trainer Ralph Annear. 'Ty' and Jack stopped the clock in 2:06.3. The third and final division went to Tyne Valley and driver Mike Stevenson in 2:07.1 for owners Bill and Scott Roloson and Kristi Pickering.

The three-year-old trotters were also in PEI Colt Stakes action and Seanchai was able to steal the show before the rain started in Charlottetown. Driver Jason Hughes used the hot fractions laid down by Dusty Lane Galaxy to his advantage. After splits of :28.3 and 1:00, Hughes seen enough and rushed his mount to the front, clearing to the lead and winning by 11 lengths in 2:02 for the Buntainwood Farms and trainer Nick Oakes.

Just as the $4, 300 second division was about to line up behind the gate, the rain started to fall, and the front end held up for post 3 starter Phantom Beau. Kenny Arsenault rushed the son of Bo W to the front and held on to win by a neck in 2:05.3 for owner Peter Breau. Southfield Shadow won the third division for the Southfield Farms Inc and driver Terry Gallant. She won in 2:05.4.

In the evenings top class, the class of the field Balanchine took advantage of a brouhaha going to the opening quarter, grinding it out first over, he cleared up the back stretch and the winner of over three-quarter of a million dollars made it look mighty easy winning in 1:57.3 for owners Mike Pollard and Joey Gallant. Ron Matheson did the driving and Jackie Matheson trains winner of 55 races lifetime.

On a night full of trotters the card wouldn't be complete without the best trotters the region has to offer scoring behind the starting gate. Zip The Lip was a going away winner in 2:01 for driver Brian MacPhee and owners Orville Willis and Donald Sweet.

Gordie Hennessey also enjoyed a driving double, since returning home, Hennessey has started to work his way into the driving colony. He made a good account of himself Thursday winning with his own trainee After Lunch Larry, lighting up the tote board returning his backers $66.30 on a win ticket. Hennessey also won with Leaveitwithme.
