Opening Heats of the Southern Cross series highlight this weekend's harness racing at Betezy Park Globe Derby this Saturday night, with one fillies heat and two colts events.

The fillies heat has bought together a full field and class filly Whats Emma Got has drawn the outside of the front line. the daughter of Grinfromeartoear has won 4 of her 7 starts including her last three and while she has not started for a month due to a minor setback the Glenda Fuller trained fillys looks the winner.

The Emma Stewart trained Secret Agenda has been competitive without winning in all her three starts and the Jill Neilson trained Whirly Girl could fill the placings.

The colts and geldings heats feature the unbeaten Hez The One and despite a back line draw looks the winner again in the first heat.

Heat two - The Dapper Don has been in good form with seconds to Hez The One in the BOTRA Golden Nursery Final and the Breeders Crown Heat last week.

The other feature on the program is the Maughan Ford Cup for fast class pacers and Darren Billinger holds the key with three of the seven runners. Come On Frank has won four races this season and has drawn the utside of the front line Lord Monaloo has drawn the pole and king of the claimers Albert Jaccka the only horse on the back line.

The Kevin Brough trained Weallwantano looks the only runner likely to spoil Billingers party.
