Buenos Aires, AR – Argentina's top pacer, Chucaro Art Surco, is on his way to the United States to continue his racing career.
The three-year-old champion, who won an astounding 20 races in just 24 starts at age two last year under the tutelage of trainer Sebastian Gonzalez, will soon arrive in the USA and will be trained by Angela Porfilio, who is stabled near the Meadows in Washington, PA.
Owned by the Bencardin Family of Argentina, Chucaro Art Surco was driven by Argentina's top reinsman, Daniel Brandalise, during his career and closed out his 2016 season with a very impressive 1:57 track record triumph (1609 meters race) in the Argentina Breeders Crown Championship final.
The greatest horse ever to come from Argentina and race successfully in the USA was Chucaro Ahijuna, a world-champion double-gaited record holder who represented the USA in Sweden's prestigious Elitlopp back in 2005.
