Summerside, PE - Bet The House, with Gilles Barrieau in the bike, won the Victoria Day Pace Monday during opening day action at Red Shores Summerside.

Bet The House is co-owned by Gary Arsenault, Miscouche and trainer Blaine Mckenna of Elmsdale. McKenna had a training double on the day. Bunny Mach held on for second while Carnivore finished third for driver Marvyn Webster. The 3-1-4 triactor paid $93.70.

That clocking was the fastest mile of the day and was equaled by Painted Pony for trainer Raymond White of Murray River and driver Marc Campbell.
