But Jefferson Tare proved to be too tough on the front end and went on to win by a half length. Super Deuce AM held for second with D G's Justlikethat finishing third. Jefferson Tare paid $3.60 to win as the betting favorite.
In the 10th and final race of the evening, Dancer's Cam, a 22-1 long shot, scored an upset win and paid $46.10 to win. That helped the evening total rise on average win payoff price this season from $12.48 after 51 races to $12.79 after 61 races, which is one of the highest averages in North America.from the Quebec Jockey Club
