CHASIN RACIN, a son of The Panderosa from the Artsplace mare, Contrapan, has arrived in Buenos Aires, capital of the Argentine Republic, where he will start his campaign as a stallion.
Gabriel and Lucas Devias, owners of Haras "El Arroyo" together with adviser Carlos Daniel Puentes, has bet on this great horse that in his campaign won in prizes the sum of US $780,000 and hit the post coming in first place 24 times.
On August 1, in the city of Navarro, located 100 km from Buenos Aires, Chasin Racin was officially presented to the Argentine fans at a lunch organized by the heads of Haras El Arroyo, who has been working in that city for a few months .
A finalist in the $1,000,000 Meadowlands Pace 2009, where he finished fourth against Well Said, Chasin Racin will have at his disposal 30 mares that are from this establishment and another 15 more mares that will arrive in Navarro from different places throughout Argentina to acquire the services of the novice stallion.
Chasin Racing has as his best record 1:51 at a mile. Haras "El Arroyo" is not the first time to bet on American horses to have as stallions, since it started with Iron Legend, then continued with Pedro Island and with Final Curtain, the latter died when he was serving a mare in his first season as a stallion, so we will have few descendants of Final Curtain. Now it's Chasin Racin's turn.
In Argentina, the breeding season is opposite to the USA, since here it begins on July 1 and ends on December 31.
