The leading stallion list for the 2015 Sire Stakes program saw Hasty Hall finish on top with 79 points from 13 runners averaging 6.07 points per runner.
His 2 winners on the day were Rhyds Art and Titanium in the 4 year old fillies and 3 year old colts and geldings respectively.
Both were extremely impressive with Mick Lord & Vicky Gill sending there charges to the front at the earliest opportunity and never looking in danger of relinquishing their leads.
These are 2 top class animals and deserve to be mentioned towards the very top of the seemingly endless list of other champion juveniles by the phenomenon that is Hasty Hall.
Has a 3 year old seemed as unbeatable as Titanium does since Rhyds Fivestar?
In 2nd place is Kikikolt based at the Meadowbranch stud in Ireland he managed a very impressive 47 points from 4 runners averaging 11.75 per runner.
His 2 winners were Meadowbranch Queen in the 2 year old fillies event and She'sgotanattitude in the 3 year old fillies.
Both were given front running drives by John Richardson and won well to make it an Irish double on the day.
Both are immaculately bred with Queen being from the dynasty of Churchill Queen who has bred champion after champion whilst She'sgotanattitude is a full sister to Bath Lane!
Meadowbranch Milli was an impressive runner up in the 3 year old fillies.
Kikikolt's progeny are truly starting to step up to the plate and there is a growing feeling amongst Irish Breeders that he is a destined to be a very special stallion and with youth on his side he could have a massive influence on UK and Irish breeding over the coming years.
Third place went to Rogue Hall who's best effort was Frisco Roller in the 2 year old fillies trained by Andrew Cairns she stayed on nicely to claim the runners up spot in only her 2nd start.
Oaks Maddico claimed 3rd spot in the 3 year old fillies
. Rogue Halls total points were 23 from 4 runners giving an average of 5.75 points per runner.
Having already left top juveniles Frisco Have A Go and Littlemill Rogue and with Coalford Tetrick showing great promise given the opportunity I'm sure Rogue Hall will produce plenty of stakes winners.
In 4th spot Arts Conquest had 19 points from 3 runners giving an average of 6.33 points per runner.
His star performer was Miraculous in the 2 year old colts race coming out of the pack to finish strongly in the straight under a confident Patrick Kane drive.
Jessie's Conquest tasted defeat for the first time in the 2 year old fillies division but a case can be made for her as she suffered a murderous trip from the 8 draw resulting in a parking ticket whilst clocking a 59 half and 1.30 to the 3/4 pole.
Arts Conquest has proved himself a top sire overseas and is now leaving top Juvenile stock in the UK.
Check On Jack ( 3 runners 5.33 points per runner ) & Backnthesaddleapan (2 runners 8 points per runner) finished joint 5th with 16 points it was Backnthesaddleapan who had the winner though with Imjustalittleguy the Aberystwyth low grade final winner coming out of the pack in the home turn to eventually get up on the line and break Camden Jodys heart in the tightest of finishes.
The Sire Stakes programme is a great initiative and is vital to the ongoing success of breeding in the UK and Ireland.
Well done to the organisers and to all who took part and of course to Mick Welling and York Harness Raceway for providing a top class facility for these young horses to perform on.
