With the Swedish invasion and the strangest Prix des Centaures on record (only three completing the journey) putting paid to our French picks last week didn’t have much for us to write home about.

Only the magnificent Amaru Boko at prohibitive odds got us any money back with our single picks.

We had a lot of close seconds in our V75 which on another day would have given us five or six picks, but that is the breaks. There is another jackpot this weekend, so it is well worth perservering.

It is a light week in France with a big one coming up, so we have just gone with the Swedish picks this weekend. Good luck.

V75-1 Mares Elite 2140m: Canaka BF (6) can be forgiven her last start after a shoeing change interrupted a superb string of form.  Miss Sue V (2) has a great draw  and ability while Photo Princess (7) looks like a threat as well.  Selection  6-2-7

V75-2 Klass I 1640m:  Global Navigator (9) won the mare’s V75 race last start and has won two of her four wins at this distance.  B.B.S Sugarlight (5) should be included as an alternate.  Selection  9 (5)

V75-3 Gold  division 1640m: Baht Launcher (6) was never going to catch Amaru Boko last Saturday but raced well nonetheless and is in top form. With the  brilliant Bjorn Goop in the bike and from this draw look like an anchor for mine.   Selection  6

V75-4 Klass II 2640m: French stallion Kool du Caux has only a handful of foals in Sweden, one of which is Swedish Champion On Track Piraten. A 5YO daughter of the French stallion, On Track Piraya (4)  is lightly raced, with a big break between three wins in a row as a 3YO and her resumption in January with a third and a win last start. Looks talented and again with master reinsman Bjorn Goop, and a good draw looks a good chance here.   Selection   4

V75-5 Mares Race 2140m: Bear Glide (6), Lucky Angel Face (13), Fruitcake (14) and Bedas Chip (9) should be included in selections here  . Selections  6-13-14-9

V75-6 Bronze Division 1640m: In form  Red Adair Superb (6) and the talented Highspeed Call (4) with  his gate speed look the two to fight this one  out. Red Adair Superb slightly first choice, but it will pay to box them.  Selection  6 (4)

V75-7 Silver Division 2140m: This one has many chances so it pays to go wide with Claes Boko (10), Abborren (5), Gigantic Slugger (6), Famous Dream (11) and Megamuscle (1)   Selection  10-5-6-11-1

TOTAL COMBINATIONS 60 – Cost $5, +1 alternate $10, + 2 alternate $20

Also here are my win wagers from Axevalla.
