Barry Rubinstein Farms' Cheyenne Jeffrey closed with a rush to an easy win with Ross Wolfenden in the bike and George&Tina Dennis' All Star Preview from post 8 with Art Stafford Jr. driving.
Former track champion, $1-million winner Nova Artist handled by Allan Davis gets a big post change moving from the outside to the rail. Also with an inside post Robin and Jay Breasure's People Are Crazy and Vic Kirby should be tough from post 2. Skyway Gladiator, leased by driver Mike Rossi, Jim, Phil Mango and driver Bryan Truitt's Bobbies Power Play are fast leavers and should be contenders. Russ Foster will drive Bob Coryea's I Wanna Go Fast completes the lineup.
George&Tina Dennis and Ask W Stables' Roddy's Hot Again (Kirby), won his previous start in the eight horse field. Quick Shot, steady this meet though without a win for owner-trainer Kathleen Brewer cannot be overlooked. Forget an unfortunate break at the start should be dismissed this week for owner-trainer Bob Stevenson's Singing Saint (Morgan).
