Green Mountain Race Track, which has hosted harness racing in the past, is listed for sale on ebay, the online auction service.

Unlike the traditional ebay offering, the track is not taking bidders via the web site, but provides a form to complete that requests more information.

The property is listed with a sale price of $2.5 million.

The track is located in Pownal, Vermont, near the borders of New York and Massachusetts, an hour from Albany, and has 988 stalls on 144 acres.

The track is not currently hosting racing, does not have a license to host horse or dog racing, and the ad notes that the barns are in need of repairs.

Taxes on the property, which also has a branch of the Hoosic River winding through it, were $20,000 last year.

There are 11,000 parking spaces, along with a four story tall grandstand with multiple kitchens and bleacher seating for 4500.
