The top local horse it for Monday night at Grand River Raceway was Casie Coleman.
She picked up the training double, winning the 3rd and 8th races.
The 8th race was one of two $105 000 Ontario Sires Stakes divisions for two-year-old pacing fillies.
Twin B Thong was able to edge out the victory at the wire with another local horseman at the reins, Chris Christoforou.
The victory was Twin B Thong's 3rd of the season and pushed her earnings to $168 000 for her rookie campaign.
Casie is enjoying another very successful season with her stable already amassing over $1.5 million in purse earnings.
The Cambridge native posted a career year in 2012 with over $6.5 million in purse earnings.
That season saw the emergence of Michaels Power, the three-year-old
Grand River Raceway features live harness racing on Monday and Wednesday nights throughout September.
