HARRINGTON, Del. – David Banks and Layfield Horses' Getitoffyourchest with harness racing driver Ross Wolfenden in the sulky overcame post eight Monday at Harrington Raceway for a dazzling 1:50.4 win in the $17,500 Open Pace.
The Richard Lewis-trainee followed a parked out Just A Jolt before surging three-wide at three-quarters and blitzing by pacesetter Soto for a three and a half length score. Soto held on for the runner-up position. Framed Art finished third.
A 6-year-old Tell All stallion, Getitoffyourchest notched his fourth win in his last five starts and 15th in his career.
In the final race on the program, Allan Pullman and Barry Glickstein's Doctor McSwing did something he had not done in his previous 78 starts. In his 79th career start, Doctor McSwing ($44.60) notched his first career win, in 1:55.1 at odds of 21-to-1. The 5-year-old Mcardle gelding has finished second or third in 32 previous starts.
Wolfenden, Kirby and Anthony Morgan each had three wins on the program.
